Royster Named Health Professional of the Year

Albert Royster, environmental specialist at the Volusia County Health Department in Deland, Fla., was named the Outstanding Environmental Health Professional of the Year by the Florida Health Association. The award recognizes individual efforts that make a collective difference in their communities. Royster has been active in offering education seminars to the public on wastewater treatment and septic care, from international professionals to elementary school children, sometimes as his alter ego Dr. Septic with his puppet Snoopy.
