Roth Receives Federal Cross of Merit
Manfred Roth, owner of the Roth Group, including Roth Global Plastics, makers of the FRALO line of products, was presented the Federal Cross of Merit by Prime Minister Roland Koch on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany for his honorary work and social commitment. Roth is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce of Dillenburg, served as commercial judge in Marburg and supports The Philipps-University in Marburg, where he serves on the board. He also supports cultural organizations and donated the under-floor heating systems for the renovation of the Frauenkirche in Dresden. Roth took over the family’s small handcraft business after his father’s illness in 1961, and became the sole shareholder of Roth Industries upon his father’s death in 1969. Today the company operates worldwide and has more than 1,100 employees.
Orenco Holds AdvanTex Dealer Workshops
Orenco Systems Inc. conducted two-day workshops for its authorized AdvanTex dealer network in Atlanta, Ga., Sacramento, Calif., and Sutherlin, Ore. The workshops trained dealers on the company’s new technology for tracking system service. All members of the AdvanTex program are required to attend periodic training.
Zoeller Hosts Open House
Zoeller Pump Co. held an open house for contractors, installers, distributors, regulators and vendors in connection with the 2008 Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo in Louisville. The group toured Zoeller’s Louisville facility and viewed various product demonstrations.
