SJE-Rhombus has been named a Silver ESOP Award winner by The ESOP Association. The Silver ESOP Awards recognize companies for their work in sustaining their ESOP for 25 years or more. SJE-Rhombus is one of 26 corporate members of the association to be honored in 2013 with a Silver ESOP Award. The ESOP Association is the national trade association for companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) and the leading voice in America for employee ownership.

Based in Detroit Lakes, Minn., SJE-Rhombus is an employee-owned company specializing in pump control solutions for a wide range of residential, commercial, municipal, industrial and agricultural applications worldwide.

“We are proud to have been named a Silver ESOP Award recipient. Each employee-owner is a working partner, motivated to be acutely involved in the day-to-day operation of the business,” says Nathan Fetting, chief financial officer for SJE-Rhombus. “This involvement and commitment has continued to be a catalyst for our success over the past 25 years.”

J. Michael Keeling, president of The ESOP Association, adds, “I consider it an honor, and a statement of significance, to recognize SJE-Rhombus as a Silver ESOP Company. SJE-Rhombus evidences that with proper management and planning, a company can remain employee owned, benefiting all employees for years to come.”

As a Silver ESOP Award recipient, SJE-Rhombus will be noted at The ESOP Association’s Annual Conference being held in Washington, D.C., May 9-10, 2013, and will be highlighted at the 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony on May 8 to honor outstanding companies and individuals in the employee ownership community.

This is the sixth year the Silver ESOP Awards have been presented by the association. The core cause of The ESOP Association is the belief that employee ownership will improve American competitiveness, increase productivity through greater employee participation, and strengthen our free enterprise economy.
