The Ohio Onsite Wastewater Association is presenting a technology field day on April 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 pm at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center. The presentations and exhibits will all be relative to onsite wastewater distribution systems. Exhibits will be indoors and out, to give attendees a very hands-on experience. There will also be round-trip transportation to the Advanced Drainage Systems plant for a one-hour tour. Lunch is included.

The program has been approved by the Ohio Department of Health for six continuing education hours for sewage treatment system contractors, including installers, septage haulers and service providers. The course has also been approved for six continuing education hours by the State Board of Sanitarian Registration.

Continuing education hours are now required for all Ohio septic system installers, designers and soil evaluators, as well as pumpers and haulers.

Those interested in attending can visit the OOWA website at www.ohioonsite.org or contact the office at 866/843-4429. The agenda and registration form are available on the website.
