This year marks the milestone of the 500,000th machine manufactured by the Manitou Group. With its three brands, Manitou, Gehl and Mustang, and more than 400 models offered throughout the world, the group celebrates this as an expression of its leadership in the all-terrain material-handling and dirt-engaging markets.

The Manitou Group designs, manufactures, distributes and supports equipment for the construction, agriculture and industrial markets. It specializes in telescopic handlers, all-terrain forklifts, skid-steers, track loaders, articulated loaders, semi-industrial and industrial masted forklifts, access platforms, truck-mounted forklifts and attachments.

As a leader in the agricultural market, Manitou Americas will announce the celebration of the Manitou Group's 500,000th machine at various summer trade shows; Empire Farm Days in Seneca Falls, New York; Ag Progress Days in Pennsylvania Furnace, Pennsylvania; and Wisconsin Farm Tech Days in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

For the occasion, the "500,001" and "500,002" customized machines will be on display. The Gehl "500,001" RT175 GEN:2 track loader and the Mustang "500,002" 1900R skid loader have been painted with a "reverse" color scheme in honor of this half-million milestone.

The customized Gehl "500,001" track loader and Mustang "500,002" skid steer loader will then travel from Wisconsin to Europe, debuting at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, Nov. 10-14, 2015. They will be paired with a "special edition" Manitou MLT 735 also created for the 500,000th celebration, which began in Ancenis, France, in early March.
