Time-dose control with monitoring

Smart Panels from Alderon Industries give users complete control and monitoring of timed-dose systems. Users set specific dose times to the second. They can view elapsed time meters, event counters, and alarm cycle counter, and timer override cycle counter for simplex, duplex and triplex systems.

The alarm system includes a red alarm beacon mounted on top of the panel and an alarm buzzer with test/silence switches. Twenty-foot float switches are standard. The UL-listed panels can also be customized for specific applications. The system uses high-quality IEC motor contactors for pump control and includes circuit breakers, HOA switches, and an O&M manual with schematics. Fiberglass system

The M6-EV wastewater treatment system from Consolidated Treatment Systems is built on the Nayadic technology. The unit is a complete system in a single excavation. Its three-in-one tank design provides a 310-gallon pretreatment tank with sanitary tees, a 500 gpd advanced treatment unit with a control panel capable of controlling dose or sprinkler applications, a compressor with an optional internal or external housing, and an 830-gallon pump tank with a mounted junction box for electrical connections, an effluent filter, and a high-head discharge pump.

Sand filter system

The GSF geotextile sand filter system from Eljen Corp. is comprised of a two-stage Bio-Matt pretreatment process that provides treatment and disposal in the same footprint. Installation is easy, and maintenance is minimal. The unit complies with the requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 40 protocol.

Septic tank effluent is filtered through the Bio-Matt fabric while the module's design provides a large surface area for biological treatment. Open-air channels within the module support aerobic bacterial growth on the geotextile fabric interface. The hardened stainless steel cutting system shreds solids into fine slurry with less jamming. An open volute eliminates cutwater, improving solids flow. Registered by the U.S. EPA and the Canadian Ministry of the Environment, the tablets provide a stable and effective chlorine dose, enabling facilities to consistently meet NPDES bacteria requirements. Containerized treatment

AdvanTex AX-Max wastewater treatment systems from Orenco Systems are containerized, fully plumbed, plug-and-play units sized for large commercial and municipal applications. Units come in a variety of configurations, measuring up to 42 feet by
8.5 feet. One unit can process up to 5,000
gpd of raw sewage or 15,000 gpd of primary-treated effluent.

Systems can be installed singly or in multi-unit arrays, either aboveground or buried to grade. Units are easy to ship and set and provide high-quality treatment in a wide variety of soils and climates. The systems use attached growth treatment to produce clear, odorless effluent with significant nutrient reduction, suitable for subsurface irrigation or surface discharge after disinfection. Units reduce nitrogen up to 90 percent depending on configuration and provide reliable performance with only a part-time operator. STEP system

The Polylok STEP (septic tank effluent pump) system draws effluent from the middle layer (clear zone) of a septic tank, filters the remaining unwanted solids, then pumps the effluent to a dispersal field or wastewater treatment system. The dual-compartment design allows the filter cartridge to be removed without pulling the pump or the entire vault. Linear air pump

The Whirlwind STA80AL linear air pump from Septic Services Inc. features an integrated audible alarm and warning light to monitor the performance of the pump and allows the unit to conform to local codes that may require units to be equipped with an alarm system. The pump has a flow rate of 4.0 cfm and is capable of 2.0 psi. It has thick diaphragms and an oversized shuttle for performance and longevity. The light, compact unit is easy to install and includes inside-threaded outlet pipe and a 6-foot power cord and a toggle switch to test the alarm and warning light. Exterior alarms

Exterior alarms from Septronics Inc. have a removable terminal board to keep alarm wiring effortless and straightforward. All units contain a test button, fuse and toggle switch to silence the horn. The toggle can be inside the junction box or outside the box for easy access. Any exterior alarm can be ordered with wall-mount brackets or can sit on a high-impact poly pedestal to protect wiring and connect through to the tank with a pipe nipple and locknuts. Orifice shields

Orifice shields from SIM/TECH FILTER prevent drain media, such as drain stone, from blocking discharge holes. A sturdy design keeps the shields firmly in place after they are snapped onto the laterals. The large amount of open area between the pipe and the shield allows for easy placement over the holes and reduces media clogging by debris. The enclosed design has a large amount of open area, but all openings are small enough to prevent media from entering the shield. Control and alarm system

The Ultra Nator control and alarm system from SJE-Rhombus is designed to control two 120-volt, 1 hp or 15-amp, single-phase pumps in duplex sump pump applications. It features two receptacles to accept two 120-volt pump plugs for easy pump connection with no wiring. In normal operation, the pumps will alternate based on the pump switch level. If an alarm condition occurs (top float activates), the alarm indicator and horn turn on. The pump in use will turn off and the other pump will turn on. Pumping will continue until the pump switch deactivates (bottom float). The alternating action equalizes pump wear.

The system is NEMA 1 rated for indoor use. It features a factory-installed power cord, pump activation switch and alarm activation switch for easy installation. In addition to an audible and red visual alarm indicator, the system includes a green power on indicator and green pump run indicators.
