Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. announced the appointment of David Lynes as regional sales manager, Great Lakes Region. Lynes comes to Hyundai with more than 20 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry. Most recently, he served as the National Accounts Manager at BOMAG Americas in Kewanee, Illinois with a focus on the governmental market. His extensive resume also includes similar positions with well-known companies such as CNH America, John Deere and Caterpillar. 

In his new role at Hyundai Construction Equipment, Lynes will oversee sales efforts in the Great Lakes Region and effectively grow business in the governmental marketplace. 

“I look forward to strengthening the Hyundai Americas sales coverage throughout Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin and assisting our established dealers in their efforts to effectively serve their Hyundai customers,” says Lynes. 

Lynes holds a bachelor’s degree from Governors State University and resides in Kewanee, Ill., with his wife and four children. In his spare time, Lynes enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his family.
