Ashland Pump recently broke ground to begin construction of its new office building and test lab. The expanding company’s office area will be 6,120 square feet and the test lab will be 1,800 square feet.

The office addition will include 18 offices and a large centralized conference and training room, each outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. The architecture will feature a “modern-rustic” exterior and entry by combining natural stone, timber and metal elements that carry through from the exterior in to the vaulted foyer / reception area.

The test lab will enable us to perform production and R&D testing. Production testing is important to ensure products consistently achieve published performance, so our customers can always be confident that our products will perform as expected. R&D testing allows us to evaluate new product and product improvement concepts.

Ashland Pump strives to deliver products that are state-of-the-art in hydraulic design, efficiency, durability and craftsmanship. Having the ability to test products at our Ohio location will allow us to bring new products and product enhancements to market faster.

The test lab will feature a 17,000-gallon test pit, cycle testing pits, an overhead crane and modern controls.
