Jet Inc. has introduced the model J-500CF nutrient reduction system. Theunit uses intermittent aeration and additional filtration to reduce total nitrogen in treated effluent. It has been tested to NSF Standard 40 and 245 for reduction of suspended solids, BOD, and total nitrogen. The system incorporates all of the same design features of standard Jet systems, including the 700LL aerator, attached pretreatment tank, and Jet BAT Media process.
