Rissy Plastics Flout
The flout dosing device from Rissy Plastics is a weighted floating vessel, hinged on a flexible pipe connector, that floats on the surface, storing a desired dose of effluent in a chamber. When the vessel sinks, it releases the chamber contents, then re-floats to store another dose. The cycle is completed without electricity or issues with dosing siphons. With sufficient elevation, the unit may be used for pressure dosing, eliminating the waste of pumping downhill. Other uses include stormwater, and freeze prevention. The pictured unit will dose with 8 inches of drawdown through a 3-inch pipe. This arrangement is readily available in drawdowns from 6 to 36 inches and may be ganged for greater flows. The J-1500CF Series nitrogen-reducing BAT media plant from Jet Inc. offers variable capacity in a NSF 245-tested treatment system. It provides complete effluent treatment from 500 to 1,500 gpd. The 500 and 800 gpd PLT Series tanks are the lightweight, rotational molded alternative to the concrete J-1500CF Series. The seamless polyethylene tanks are easy to transport and install in difficult site conditions. Rewatec dosing distribution box
The Rewatec dosing distribution box is made of lightweight plastic and is easy to install. It uses no electromechanical parts and is 100% energy-free. The dosing device is separated into an 18-gallon reservoir and a distribution chamber, with the dosing device acting as a conduit between the two. When the reservoir is full, the dosing device lowers before stopping at a preset level. The dosing device’s preset level is adjustable, and effluent doses can be adjusted from 12 to 18 gallons. Effluent leaves the distribution chamber through one to five 4-inch outlets and is evenly distributed across the length of the soil absorption system. Both simplex and duplex models are available and can be configured in the field for timed or demand dosing. While the control circuit operates on 120-volt power, the pump circuit is dual-rated for 120- or 240-volt power.
