The Premier Tech Aqua business unit of the Premier Tech received a Phénix de l’environnement award, the highest environmental honor in Québec., in the Process, Product or Ecoresponsible Packaging category, for the marketing of its Ecoflo Polyethylene Ready-to-Install treatment unit.
The 15th edition of the awards program was held at the National Assembly in the presence of Pierre Arcand, Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks. The prize recognizes the company’s environmental commitment over the past 20 years. The Ecoflo product is fully preassembled when delivered and is made from materials that can be recycled, reclaimed or composted.
“This honor crowns the collaboration between our research and development teams from Québec and France,” said Roger Lacasse, vice president of research and development at Premier Tech Aqua. “It also proves that innovation and research have become a source of job creation and wealth for the companies of Québec. Promising careers now lie in the development of sustainable products as well as in research and environment-related fields.”
