The popularity is driven by a one-tank configuration, small footprint (7’ x 4’ for smallest model), low power draw (less than $6/month for most residential systems), easy plug & play installation, simple & efficient O&M, and consistent treatment (90-95% BOD and TSS removal). No preceding septic tank necessary. NSF 40 certified. There are no moving in-tank parts. An external air blower (FujiMAC RII) introduces oxygen to aerobic chambers and powers two internal air lift pumps, which manage sludge return and discharge of clean effluent. |
