Goulds Water Technology Model 3871 EP04 and EP05 effluent pumps are designed for effluent systems, homes, farms, heavy-duty sump, water transfer and dewatering applications. The EP04 impeller features a thermoplastic semi-open design with pump out vanes for mechanical seal protection. The EP05 has a thermoplastic-enclosed design for improved performance. Both models feature a rugged thermoplastic casing and base for strength and corrosion resistance, while the cast iron motor housing efficiently transfers heat, providing strength and durability. The thermoplastic motor cover includes an integral handle and float switch attachment points.
