For the first time at the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo in Indianapolis, exhibitors will perform live equipment demonstrations outside the Indiana Convention Center.

Product demos will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, outside Exhibit Hall I on Senate Avenue at the south end of the Convention Center. Five companies will spend one hour each showcasing their equipment, followed by Q-and-A sessions with company representatives.

Hammelmann Corp. pumps feature three, five or seven plungers and offer a small footprint, direct coupling, low maintenance costs and high operational efficiency. Hammelmann will demonstrate the dynamic plunger seal system, which eliminates the use of high-pressure packing. The design enables safe and reliable continuous-duty operation at pressures up to 58,000 psi. The complete line of high-pressure accessories includes 3-D tank cleaners, rotary devices and reaction-driven assemblies. Following the demo, visit Hammelmann in Expo booth 3109.

Terydon, Inc., manufacturer of specialty waterjetting and waterblasting accessories, will demonstrate a precision ultra-high pressure (UHP) abrasive cut using the Jack Track Cutting System, which has earned Terydon the reputation as a leader in the cold-cutting world. Visit Terydon in Expo booth 3108 for more information on the cutting system.

Perma-Liner Industries, Inc., will showcase the Top Gun Continuous Inversion System, which allows the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner tube to invert utilizing low air pressure. The liner inverts continuously without the need for above-ground water column towers, tall scaffold or the need for excess water. Following the demo, visit Perma-Liner in Expo booth 3223 for more information on the inversion system.

GapVax, Inc., will demonstrate the MC Advanced Series combination sewer cleaning unit, which allows the operator to observe and troubleshoot the entire system. Display screens control hydraulics, blower and water pump operations. All body functions, boom and hose reel functions, vacuum break, throttle, area and safety lighting are wirelessly controlled, while still maintaining proportional boom and hose reel control. Check out GapVax in Expo booth 6004.

NozzTeq, Inc., will demonstrate the BL SWIPER Nozzle, which helps prevent blown toilets. The company will also do an above-ground demo of the Paikert Impact Cutter for situations where digging isn’t necessary. Following the demo, visit NozzTeq in Expo booth 1250 for more information on its products.

The demo schedule is as follows (subject to change):

10 a.m. – Hammelmann Corp. and Terydon, Inc.

1 p.m. – Perma-Liner Industries, Inc.

3 p.m. – GapVax, Inc.

3:45 p.m. – NozzTeq, Inc.

Stop by for the equipment demos on Wednesday to see all these products in action.
