For projects with shallow-bury needs or limited space, the Orenco Systems AdvanTex AX-RT with ClickTight is the solution. It comes complete from the factory, with all interior components installed, plumbed and adjusted before they’re shipped.
AX-RT units are simple to install, too. They can be shallowly buried between a watertight septic tank and a functioning drainfield. The modular three-in-one design includes recirculation, treatment and discharge in a single unit to simplify installation and eliminate the need for additional tanks, basins, risers and lids.
The AdvanTex AX20-RT system was a perfect fit for a project in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The clients feared losing their home because of a failing drainfield with no land for a new one. Engineer Kevin Davidson suggested an advanced treatment system that could eliminate the need for a drainfield: an AdvanTex AX20-RTUV. The state department of water quality okayed the fix, the clients remained in their home, and the system continues to operate well within permit limits.
The AX-RT treatment system uses dependable, proven technology to treat residential septic tank effluent to better-than-secondary standards. Able to handle flows of up to 600 gpd, the unit’s sturdy, watertight basin incorporates recirculation-blend and discharge tankage into a single module, along with lightweight, highly absorbent, engineered textile media that treats a lot of wastewater in a small space.
AX-RTs are intended for small-flow applications that require an advanced secondary treatment system, including new installations, retrofits or repairs. They eliminate the need for separate recirculation and discharge tanks by performing both functions within a single module and are ideal for sites with shallow-bury requirements, sites with poor soils, or sites with small lot sizes.
