The Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter have announced the kick-off of the first webinar series of 2013. The Variable Speed Drives four-part webinar series will begin Feb. 14, 2013. 

The series also includes a free webinar, “Variable Speed Drives Make Cents.” The free session will take place prior to the series on Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. EST and will last approximately 30 minutes. Registration for the free webinar and four-part series is available at www.pumpsystemsmatter.org.

The following is a schedule for the four-part webinar series: 

Free Session – Variable Speed Drives Make Cents, Jan. 31, 1-1:30 p.m. EST
Session 1 – Intro 101, Feb. 14, 1-2 p.m. EST
Session 2 – Application and Installation Considerations, Feb. 21, 1-2 p.m. EST
Session 3 – Protection for VFD and Proper Output, Feb. 28, 1-2 p.m. EST
Session 4 – Troubleshooting Problems with VFDs, March 7, 1-2 p.m. EST 

Advance registration is required and HI members receive a 25 percent discount off the regular registration fee. Participants of the Variable Speed Drives webinar series earn four PDH credits.
