Pentair Ltd. supports continuing education in the water movement industry with a series of free educational webinars offered by master trainer Bill Corey.

Corey joined the company in April of 1973, working on the manufacturing of pumps and pump motors for over 18 years. He moved to customer service in 1992, helping customers select, install, and troubleshoot Pentair products. Three years later, Corey became a Pentair trainer, and since that time has conducted field training for over 10,000 students from 47 U.S. states and 11 countries. In addition to his training responsibilities, he also writes a monthly technical column for Worldwide Drilling magazine.

Pentair’s weekly webinar training began in 2012, and Corey hopes to increase that to two per week in the fall. “We make them very interactive, try to keep people’s attention, and give them very pertinent information to be successful in their jobs,” he says. “In addition, our classes qualify for CEUs for those who want to keep their certifications current.”
