The WWETT Show is obviously the biggest thing happening in Indianapolis, Feb. 20-23, 2023, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only thing. From history buffs and foodies to sports fans and art lovers, Indy has something special for you.

After show activities

The fun doesn’t have to stop when the expo hall closes for the day. Indianapolis comes alive as the sun sets, with hundreds of places to choose for good conversations, great drinks and top-notch better entertainment. Whether you’re up for happy hour hot spots or live music, downtown Indy has what you’re looking for.

Fine and fun dining

After long hours on the show floor, sitting down with friends, new and old, and catching up over some good food and cold drinks can be the best part of the day. Indy is home to over 300 diverse dining options providing opportunities for every mood, palate and price point. Visitors will find world-famous steakhouses, sports bars and farm-to-table restaurants all nearby the convention center.

“We seem to end up at Kilroy’s Bar & Grill every year,” says Brad Bisnette, sales and events representative for COLE Publishing. “It’s always good for a fun atmosphere, great food and filled with WWETT attendees and exhibitors.”

Cory Dellenbach, editor and photo editor for COLE, says if you’re into Italian food, The Old Spaghetti Factory is a must-stop, and COLE President Jeff Bruss says Maryland Street and the side streets off it are covered in restaurants all within a block of the convention center. “You’ll find everything from Saint Elmo’s Steakhouse to Noodles & Co.,” he says.

“I really enjoy having so many dining options in the downtown Indy area. I am looking forward to trying out two of the latest additions – Social Cantina and Sugar Factory,” said Chrissy Baridon, associate director of the WWETT Show.

Local attractions

Coming early or staying a few extra days after the show? Indy truly offers something for everyone. The four-story Circle Centre Mall connected to the convention center is an attendee favorite and go-to for locally made goods and unique finds. Throughout the city, attendees can find internationally recognized museums like the Motor Speedway Museum, Museum of Art at Newfields, and the world’s largest children’s museum.

Other visitor favorites include the Indianapolis Zoo, located in White River State Park, Speedway Indoor Karting and the many monuments and memorials located throughout the city honoring our nation’s veterans.
