In the dry climate and sometimes sensitive environments in New Mexico, advanced treatment is often a requirement for residential
onsite systems.

For AAA Allied Septic Service, based in Santa Fe, FujiClean USA aerobic treatment units provide a solution for compact lots where homeowners’ needs include nitrogen reduction as part of high-level treatment of septic tank effluent. Co-owner Ralph Baker Dotson observes, “The FujiClean systems have controls inside that let me change aeration and flow.”

FujiClean USA units with nitrogen removal capability have capacities from 500 to 1,000 gpd. The 500 gpd CEN5 is the most compact of these systems, which are specifically designed for nutrient-sensitive areas. They are certified to NSF/ANSI 40/245 standards.

The fiberglass-reinforced plastic CEN5 weighs 463 pounds and can be fit into tight and difficult sites. Designed to accommodate variable flows and shock loadings, and to operate with high energy efficiency (1.2 kWh/day, about $5 per month in most locations), the systems are well suited for new construction or replacements, according to the manufacturer.

A single quiet-running blower powers the entire system. Contractors can easily transport and install the units. The plug-and-play one-tank design with a single air line helps with installation efficiency. No-frills alarming and simple operation minimize the risk of installation or operational errors. Units can accommodate Tuf-Tite and Polylok risers.

Maintenance is simple, consisting mainly of system flushback, accomplished from above ground with easy-turning valves. There are no moving parts inside the tank, and FujiMAC blowers are designed to provide reliable, long-lasting operation.

For system design, in-house engineers offer no-cost support such as system sketches and design layouts, including for
nonstandard applications.
