BioMicrobics’ Joseph Rebori named WWETT award winner
BioMicrobics’ Joseph Rebori was honored as a 2025 WWETT Young Professionals Award winner. The awards recognize trailblazers in the water, wastewater and environmental services industries. Rebori, assistant vice president of inquiries, engineering and regulatory, was recognized with other dynamic young leaders who are driving innovation and shaping the future of the wastewater and environmental services industries. Winners are chosen by a panel of industry experts and WWETT Show representatives, celebrating dedication and impact on the future of the field.


SSPMA scholarship application open for 2025/2026 program
The Sump and Sewage Pump Manufacturers Association announced the opening of its 2025/2026 SSPMA Scholarship Program. This year’s program will award up to two scholarships for $2,500 each to students working toward an associate, bachelor’s, master’s degree or appropriate certification/trade associated with wastewater management. Applicants may apply online at sspma.org/scholarship by June 1. Formed in 1956, the SSPMA represents a majority of the manufacturers of sump, effluent and sewage pumps, together with component and accessory suppliers. Current SSPMA pump company members include Ashland Water Group, Champion Pump, Crane Pumps and Systems, Franklin Electric/Little Giant, Goulds Water Technology/Xylem, GP Enterprises, Liberty Pumps, Pentair Water, Power-Flo Pumps and Systems, Superior Pump Company, Wayne Water Systems and Zoeller Company.
