Yanmar CE launches full line of compact equipment
Yanmar Compact Equipment launched its full line of compact equipment. The line is completed following the introduction of Yanmar compact track loaders, now available at dealer lots across North America. The four models complement the existing mini excavators, compact wheel loaders and tracked carriers. The launch is made possible by a 50% increase in North American production capacity over the last several years. That includes a 32,000-square-foot facility expansion in Yanmar CE North America’s Grand Rapids, Minnesota, headquarters that allowed for a new powder-coating paint system, extended assembly line and quality enhancements such as laser cutting tools, robotic welding and more.
Volvo CE names 2024 Dealer of the Year
Volvo Construction Equipment has named New England-based Wood’s CRW its 2024 Dealer of the Year. The award, announced at Volvo’s annual dealer meeting, celebrates the dealership that exemplifies the Volvo brand and demonstrates consistently high performance in service offerings, customer uptime and share performance. Wood’s CRW, founded in 1961, has locations in Vermont, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania. They have been a Volvo CE distributor for more than 25 years.
Anua announces leadership transition
Anua announced a strategic leadership transition with the appointment of Sean Martin as chief executive officer. Martin, who has served as president since 2018, succeeds Colin Bishop, who has chosen to step down to pursue other personal and professional interests outside of Anua. With the transition to CEO, Martin will lead Anua, Geoflow and Sim/Tech into the next chapter of innovation and market expansion, with a focus on scalable solutions for commercial and residential community developers seeking resilient, cost-effective and eco-friendly wastewater treatment infrastructure.
Premier Tech expands in Iowa
Premier Tech has acquired Karr’s Septic Service, located in Vinton, Iowa. The acquisition allows Premier Tech Water and Environment to establish two new positions in Iowa and expand its range of septic services to homeowners throughout eastern Iowa. The acquisition also enables Premier Tech to expand its time-of-transfer diagnostic service to homeowners across Iowa’s main markets.
