If the lot does not pass the perc test, an alternative engineered system may be your answer. Norweco’s Singulair Green with integrated pump chamber offers a single-tank solution for properties with small lots and restrictive soil conditions.
The Singulair Green is available with a 520-gallon integrated pump chamber that arrives at the site ready to install. This lightweight, easy-to-install tank provides superior structural integrity, according to Annette Simon, sales and marketing coordinator for Norweco. Systems and packages are always in stock and ready to ship. Nitrogen treatment packages are available on all Singulair treatment systems, and 6- and 12-inch threaded riser extensions allow for at-grade installation.
“Our engineered tank provides optimal treatment system functionality and allows for system expansion,” says Simon. “The cutting edge features of this system make installation and maintenance of expanded treatment systems quick and easy.”
The Singulair Green is designed as a durable and reliable high-density polyethylene tank. The expanded tank design features the capability for system expansion. The improved Singulair Green rib pattern includes an interlocking ability for adding capacity to the inlet or outlet of the Green tank. This development opens up more opportunities for system applications.
In addition, features include an optional connection point on the outlet wall of the clarification chamber for attaching additional tankage. This design allows a 520-gallon pump tank to be installed downstream of the Singulair Green system, creating a true single-tank system for challenging sites. An optional connection point on the inlet wall of the pretreatment chamber is available for attaching additional tankage.
“If the job requires a larger-sized system, additional tankage can be added upstream of the Singulair Green system,” says Simon. “The modified rib pattern provides interlocking capability to allow the integration of more tankage upstream and downstream without compromising structural integrity.”
Additional transfer ports inside the tank allow modification of the Singulair Green system to meet specific application needs. According to Simon, the improvements set Norweco up to serve more potential customers. “This highly engineered Singulair Green tank design is the latest example of Norweco’s dedication to continuous product improvement,” she says. “We look forward to expanding the market with these exciting options.”
