This presentation provides an overview of sequential batch reactors and how they work. Topics include related systems, an operational overview, recommended applications and system limitations. We will also take a quick look at the workhorse of the system, floc; what to look for; and why it makes the system work.

Sean McGuigan started in the industry during the late 1980s. He is a licensed installer in one state, licensed designer in two states and has worked with multiple wastewater companies in product development, research and development, government relations and sales. He currently works as a business development and technical manager at Anua.
